Went to a workshop about Chinese lettering.
This probably looks terrible to anyone who can actually read Chinese (especially ‘cause the instructor had horrible handwriting).
It was really cool to learn about how the characters originated. Like the word for struggle comes from a drawing of two people with their arms crossed and angry eyebrows. And in Kanji the word for east is a sun rising behind a tree.
